Again, this is for any new folks...

Here are some places that we meet at before heading out on a ride/event

I used to have a few of these types of websites bookmarked...i'll see if i can scan my old files and find them...in the meantime http://www.lateralg.org/ is a good one, pashnit.com is still ok (but some parts are for pay only) and I just found this also- http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/forestvisitormaps/  there's a few more but my favorite is mapquest.com cus i like to stick along the coast for the +200 mile trips.  There's nothing wrong with just 'getting lost' either...its actually the most relaxed way to travel, car or bike.

respect few - fear none

I got the book the other day.  It's pretty nice, but it doesn't list very many routes in California.

yes, but it's not a straight shot.  When it intersects Whittier Blvd, you have to go either Hacienda to colima or Harbor/Fullerton Rd to Colima and hook back up with Azusa Blvd at the 60.

Long slow drive up Beach tho, probably 40 miles from PCH to Azusa/210, and with all the lights, ugh.

find a good route that you want to go on, and set a day and time. then make a thread and invite others.
