These are some gorgeous pics, Kenny. How was the traffic when you went? And what time (ish) was it?

There were a few kids in low cars. One ran into the side of the Mt (on east fork, no injuries) so there was a huge CHP presence. I went up Mountain to Mt Baldy and down GMR.
 Pics were taken around 10pm.

I actually got to use the aforementioned Staintune exhaust today, and she sounds pronominal. ACH and surrounding areas were a bit chilly at times, but good fun. Lots of bikes and cars out on ACH itself as you'd expect, though.

Instead of riding I did some repairs on the 09 VFR. Replaced the water pump and while I was at it, replaced the thermostat and removed the PAIR valve stuff and installed the block off plates.

This actually happened on Saturday but just now got the chance to upload the pictures.

Went for a ride and did a loop around AFH/Mt. Emma Road/ACH from La Canada to Wrightwood and back.

The crew arrives at the first meeting location somewhere in Sunland Tujunga.

Rest stop at the junction of AFH and Mt. Emma Road.

The REPSOL's CBR and one of the Tanner's VFR.

Lunch at The Grizzly Café in Wrightwood where the burgers are delicious!

Rest stop at Newcomb's Ranch before the fast ride back to La Canada.

Thtanner rolls in on his VFR800 and its new Staintune exhaust.

After a fantastic ride with perfect weather, we endured the freeway ride back to the OC.  Lots and lots of lane splitting!

Fabricated a pair of SBK 40 liter cases onto my 2014 Street Triple R. Plenty of room for camping and touring duties.

The windshield is a 18'' offered by Madstad Engineering. Fully adjustable and goes off and on in a matter of seconds.

Good job on getting that setup.  I'm not into the side bags but looking to get a top case on my 675.  Got any recommendations for case and mounts?

Almost there ... If you've been following along, my bike has been dead for a while now. After dicking around with it for several weekends, I finally gave up and resolved I was in over my head. I had to manage a ride to the shop, but handled that finally around Christmas. Good news though, my mechanic has brought it back to life. -More-

Wow, those components really took a beating! Glad you got it back up and running. Hate to see the invoice but if the bike runs and still brings enjoyment, then what the heck, right?

I'm glad you're nearly back on the road.  It has to be killing you to be without 2 wheels.

flashing the ECU and dash was less than $400.

all the other maint I put off, and some consumable things I knew needed doing anyway are what will add up.  tires.  brake rotors.  fork seals.  those added up fast.
