Reconnected tail lights for the CHP inspection on Tuesday. Getting closer to having it fully road ready and legal again, although with salvage title.

When it passes inspection does the title change to rebuilt?

Yep. Sigh.

Not that it really matters much - by the time I go to sell it it will probably have over 70k miles on it...

I'm sure you didn't get it for resale value. Bikes are meant to be ridden! Welcome back to the road :)

WooHoo Andy! Awesome!

Dory is about done being fixed up, thinking about adding a bigger windscreen, though.

Yesterday added a new rear box mount and cheap 2-helmet trunk I've had sitting around. It's huge...

Does look huge, doesn't it? :) Here's the listing on Amazon... http://a.co/ee8b0bN

Mounted using an SW-Motech AluRack. It has 4 mount points under the rear seat.

Added a bit more visibility to that big ugly box. It was already ugly, just smacking it a few more times with the ugly stick won't make it worse...

after far too long of a break, i'm back to riding for fun.

http://twoslow.com/2017/04/azusa-april-1/

My buddy Robert had never been to Azusa Canyon, and I hadnít been on a pleasure ride in.. months.. since before my bike broke.  What?  Since May of last year?  Holy Crap.  The weather has cleared up and been beautiful the last couple weekends, but Iíve been busy.  I cancelled some things so I could have a weekend for myself, wife had the little one at a dance workshop.   Called my buddy, and we rolled out nice and early.  We hit the Southern California Motorcycles Open House after and called it a day.

You should probably stop dropping your crash helmet up at Crystal Lake cafe though.   :)

Degreased and taped off the 90 VN750 engine, ready for paint.

Also adjusted clutch cable routing on my 86 VN750. Shorter bars and custom cable = lots of b.s.

I seem to mess with these cruisers a lot for someone who isn't a cruiser person...
