Yesterday we started on the 76 in Oceanside and took it to Julian.  Had some great food then headed out to Borrego Springs via Yaqui Pass road then back out over S22 road, connected back to the 76 at Lake Henshaw, went up the East Grade to Palomar Mountain, and down the front side and headed back to Oceanside.  About 160 miles and not a soul on the road. We only had to zoom around 3 cars the whole ride.  Weather was perfect, Borrego was hot but it felt good, then passing through Ranchita, it was just perfect. Eating at the Julian Bakery and getting some of their famous pie was fun except for the fact they had their Christian music playing a little too loud over the PA and it was intrusive.  I didnt even get one bug splat on my visor or bike...just weird.  Well, was a good ride, enjoy the pics.

Sounds like you had a great ride. Nice riding in the middle of the week isn't it. Take care, Doug

The SV looks sick Norm. Did you document your modifications on OCMoto somewhere that I missed?

And is the Daytona your race bike in civilian clothing?

Hi Adam,
Thanks, but also, no, I never documented it.  So many people suggested that I take pictures as it went.  I guess that since it was such a pain in the butt, and time consuming...I never felt like it. LOL.
Yup, that is my race Daytona in civilian digs.  I brushed the tank and then clear coated it in.
