I did some research and ran the numbers. I don't know what it costs, and I don't really care. 185hp, 297lbs. Thats a hp/wt ratio of 1.6 lbs/hp. A Shelby GT500 is 8.11. My SS800 is about 5.33, a 1098 is 2.35, and a ZX-14 is 2.39, and a ZO6 Corvette is 6.2. All that means is this thing is a freaking rocket on 2 wheels.

They should file with Guinness World Book of records for highest power/weight ratio.

I love extremes.  Of course to harness the power, you will need to exercise a lot of restraint to prevent from high-siding.

Imagine a 15-foot swingarm on this bike.  Tallest wheelies in teh worldz!

I once saw a CBR with Carbon Fiber, and that was back in the day (1991) and it cost about $40,000, so I can just imagine the price for this one.  At least it is very light.

The Leggera is pretty sweet too.

I'd love to get a Desmosedici engine in a Ti frame and make an ultralight rocket. That's star trek fast at that point.

Believe it or not, that Hypermotard is one of the highest power-to-weight ratio bikes on the planet. Second to the Desmosedici.
