Being the start of the year we are building a couple off bikes during the slow season. One being a Cafe Ducati for a movie star and the other Eddie lawson rep with the Cb750f superbike as well.
Hopefully 2 out off 3 will be at the Grand National on 27th jan.
I can't show the ducati build but i thought for shit and giggles i will show the Honda build from scratch...
So starting today the tear down on a low mileage 1981 cb750f pile off crap.
The bike will have ,superbike ohlins forks  ,monoblock motogp brembos, custom subframe, custom pipe ,custom swingarm, motec dash and data, motor built, motogpwerks exhaust all by 27th of jan i hope and cycle world shoot in feb.
so here is the start...

Looks like it will be an interesting start. Will you keep the same paint scheme as I see on the tail section?

Bike stripped,Made a carrier for the quick fills and bronze welded in place.Badges removed and filled, trying to get the body work out quickly as  most painters aren't reliable on time issues.
Frame will be cut to pieces, sub frame removed and decided to build a alloy subframe also it will be adjustable.
T.V show, been offered ...but i say the C..t word  too much and there would have to be Subtitles!

Cool build! I'll be keeping an eye on it.
I'm working on an 81 CB750F project as well. Mine will be upgraded suspension from a mid nineties CBR600, with some ohlins and a few frame improvements. Mine is personal project so it will use the motor as stock now (only 11k on the clock) and more iterations of mods will happen later. Maybe just some 900 cams and some transmission improvements.
