Hey All,

I'm new here, just wanted to post a quick video I shot to get a sound clip of my new exhaust.

The bike is a 2002 Honda CBR600 F4i with a Delkevic 'shorty-style' exhaust.

Hope you enjoy!

Sorry, had to stop the vid before it reached 40 seconds, as I don't need to see some guy hauling butt while wearing scrubs/pants.  Riding like that is going to get you far more attention than any after-market exhaust.  Don't say you weren't warned.. !

Stay safe(er) out there, yo..

Hey man, I appreciate the concern!

If you cut it off at 40 seconds, you actually saw pretty much all of it.  I just got on the throttle on a little uphill section on the way to work this morning.

I've got leathers for the 'real rides.'

And no, that's not how I ride normally.  Just wanted to get a clip of the new exhaust. :)

Either way, like I said, I appreciate the concern. :)

Thanks man, it's actually not too bad at idle and really low rpm, at low load.

I'm friends with my neighbors and have no need to be run out of the neighborhood!  So... I can chug through the local streets without much of an issue.

I stopped it at 54 seconds LOL. ..
anyways is your idle turned up? why's it making noise when you put it in first gear, didn't let the bike warm up?  :4:
But seriously that almost sounds like my F4i with my Chopped off Stock MUffler  :43:

The idle is set at 1300 RPM.

Are you talking about the 'clunk' when shifting into first from neutral?  Hmm the bike has always done that unless you're already rolling forward slowly.

Yeah Yeah, when shifting into first!! My F4i does that when I have the idle turned up to 3500rpm to do zeros or leave quickly without warming it up LOL.. .. But recently I started turning my bike on in first gear  to avoid that Clunk; I came across that tip (put in first then turn on)  on another forum somewhere LOL.... Yeah my bike doesn't do that when idle is at 1300rpm...   :43:

Here's the dyno vid of the bike... over at Cohen Motorsports today.

It put down 96.5 rwhp in the heat, without cooldown! :)

Enjoy!

Well, I'm wearing a (non-leather) padded jacket in the vid, but... point taken nonetheless. Thanks!
