VFR 800 Luggage Rack And Top Box Question.
« on: 03/25/13 09:18PM »
Somebody has experience installing those?
I bought the OEM rack and box used. All I got is four spacers/collars and not sure where they go. Also, am I supposed to use the grab handles? What to do with the rubber spacers that go between the grab handles and side brackets? Thanks in advance for your answers.
Jerry

I have no experience with a VFR, but I've installed a Givi top box and rack on a Bandit.  On the Bandit you have to remove the grab handles, and the rack bolts into the holes where the grab handles normally go.  I wouldn't be surprised if the VFR is the same.

Thanks fellas. It was easier than I thought, but very tight clearances. Thanks for the links Rickracer.
