i was rear ended yesterday  :-[  Luckily i was catapulted forward from the seat and landed on my palms, rather then underneath the car along with my bike. my back is sore, probably from whip lash and my wrists are hurt from the fall.. this was about a 20-30pmh impact. Thank God it was only my bike!

Were you stopped or are you talking 20-30mph faster than your speed?  That looks pretty damn bad either way.  Obviously its the cars fault but damn, that's pretty bad.

Definitely lucky that you weren't pinned under the vehicle so glad you came out relatively unscathed.

I've been rear ended once on my bike and can tell you that I felt OK right after it happened, but the next day my back started acting up, so much so, that I could hardly move without excruciating pain shooting up/down my spine with just the slightest movement of my body. Regardlss of how you feel now, make sure you see a doctor and keep track of any expenses you incur from the accident.

Wow!  Glad to hear you're relatively unscathed and able to walk away, albeit likely with a limp. :29:  Like mentioned above, time to start browsing for a replacement.  And remember, if the at-fault's insurance starts playing hardball with the value of your bike or the extent of your injuries, lawyer up!  Good luck!!
