Hey Guys

So when I turn my bike on but not start it. The headlights flash like a turn signal. then while riding my headlight will at times shut off then randomly come back on. When the light shuts off I can press on the start button and they will flash back on.

I have replaced the entire main harness loom, the sub harness headlight portion, and the headlights themselves.

I am running HIDs 8k.

I feel I should replace the rectifier yet I am running low on money and patients so I can really use some advice.

Have the same bike and had the same problem, turns out it was the ballast.

If it was the rectifier, your gauges, brake and turnsignals would all start flickering.

Wouldn't hurt to test the battery, and the rectifier especially if its the original

I had this same problem, turned out my starter switch was EXTREMELY sensitive and would not pop out all of the way after starting the bike.  When twisting the throttle, occasionally my thumb would brush the switch turning off the lights.  Might not be your problem, but I'd get that cleaned.  Ghetto_D had a great suggestion as well.
The speedometer only serves as a distraction.
Sometimes life just isn't fair. Expecting life to treat you well because you're a good person is like expecting an angry bull not to charge because you're vegetarian.
