2013 Halloween Costume Ride down PCH

Me too...I just pick one friend to do events with, post that we're going with an open invite, then let people flake without affecting my plans

So when is this happening? I have a cookie monster and elmo costume in the garage, but I have to modify the heads to fit over my helmet.....

are they mascot-style onesies? that seems to be a good starting point for a riding costume

They're kind of mascot style but the head velcros over your head and your face is in the mouth. I figures if I can somehow extend the straps it would work out pretty well, just need to figure out how to make sure it stays on while riding lol.

I would volunteer to put this together, but October is pretty much filled for me except the last weekend so I would be an awful coordinator....anyone out there want to head this up? It'd be a shame not to do this, the past ones seemed really fun. We have to remind HBPD that Pooh Bear is still around causing mischief.

Coming from someone that was their with the "pooh bear" when the fun with the law happened I say we don't inform the hbpd that he's out causing trouble.  Thanks

I will be posting up the Costume Ride in place of the Noobie Ride for next month.  The route will be similar to last year heading up to Huntington Beach. 

hahaha is that a squirrel? any details on that costume? i would assume its some sort of mascot uniform, but then i wonder if its custom-made to fit over the helmet accordingly.. hmm

I picked up the costume last minute last year at Costume Castle in Lake Forest.  I modified the head to fit over my helmet, but the hard part was filling the tail so it was light, yet would still hold up while riding.

Checking In... rode back with ViciousCycle and Newboi-Z down the coast into OC. Hopefully everyone made it back to the checkered... especially batman on the red bike, not sure if his bike stalled or died or if someone went back to check on him... reviewing the video it sounded like he said his engine died.






I had a total blast - Thanks Jessica@ YellowDevil for the pizza and drinks, thanks Don for leading us through the ride and thanks Todd for making this happen!

LOL to this guy rolling all over town - we saw him like 5 times through our route!


It was great seeing everyone - it's been a few months since I've some seen of these riders! See y'all soon!

I think this may have been the last large scale group ride I did with OCMoto.  I'd be down to do it again this year.  Perhaps the Sunday before?  For those who remember, I was the pirate on the SV.
