How was your ride? Track looked perfect!!!!

It was good.  I didn't end up riding too much.  My knee was bothering me a little so I decided to play it safe.  Got rained on on the way home so I think I timed it about right.
Even duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can help muffle the sound.

@ Blazed - you free to cruise trabuco creek road around 5:30 on saturday and sunday?

Hell yeah!  :27: I'm down either day so just let me know if you have a preference.

So I think you guys covered this in an earlier post, but do you need to have a plated bike to run up there?  Just wanted to get that clear.

Hey guys, I realize we're all out there to have fun, but some group of bikes was passing up trucks at Holy Jim/Santiago this afternoon.  I was one of the lead trucks.  The rider decided to cut me off and roosted as he took off.  The roost kicked up fat rocks and caused two huge surface cracks and one 4" hairline crack.  It's not a race out there, just be conscious of other people.  It's 35mph speed limit and I was off to the right hand side of the road. I followed as best as I could and caught up at the end.  I ended up scolding the rider leading them, but another one decided to  box me in and get up in my passenger's face. After snapping their picture from afar, the same angry rider tried to intimidate me by cutting me off on the road.  Trust me, I'm not afraid in my 2 ton truck on the road.  Your motorcycle is a tin can.  I ride, I understand, but just be conscious of others as I'm trying to be with you

that sucks man

but that wasn't me, and while I'm respectful as I can reasonably be to other people driving or riding; it's a dirt road that adult-children use for recreation with no police enforcing speed limits or setting rules - I figure that's going to happen a lot

Sorry, I didn't mean it was you but thanks for reading it anyway.  I just meant under any circumstance, I'd consider roosting anyone, but your friends, is highly disrespectful.

Hay guys I have a friend with a 91 YZ250 he said it has a locked up transmission and was quoted $1000 to fix. Seems like a lot to me what say you?

That's insane.  A two stroke is surprisingly easy to work on.  I would attempt to work on it.  If it's above his ability, just part it out.  That bike is prob only worth maybe 900 bucks in good condition.
