DRZ is a nice bike, a common complaint is the stock suspension set-up for off-road use.  If you plan on doing mostly street (90%), you should be okay.
Every day is ride to work day!

What you guys think of DRZ400?

Looking at getting a dualie, actually, the SM version and getting some dirt tires for it. Won't be using a whole ton, but would like a plated dualie that is reliable.
Meh. Have you ridden one? I find the power lack luster. Not really good at anything. My choices for a dual sport would be A) KTM 500 EXC the closest thing to a street legal production dirt bike you will find, or B) Husqvarna 701 much heavier than the KTM but more power and better on the street.

the drz400 - yeah I dunno...I rode one a couple times...great overall bike (low maintenance, easy power delivery, street/dirt friendly) not really good at anything...fun if you're new or you're looking for a 2nd bike that can do some dirt/some street/some sumo

@ Todd - which days were you thinking this weekend?

still looking for a gps track to get us to husky monument...I found the coordinates, but never navigated it that way before

I read on the Husky website that the service and valve check on the 701 is at like 6,000 miles. Way more user friendly than the KTM if you're not into wrenching on your bike every 30 hours (KTM's recommended value clearance check interval for the 500's).

Just for clarification, the Husqvarna 701 is a KTM 690 engine with a slightly different look...

Nice quiver!   :42:  :17:
Even duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can help muffle the sound.
