Wow, that was fun! The trip 1 was at 303 miles when I got home. Super cool ride that went through so many different topographies, and got to ride some super-fun twisty, vista-y roads.. I think my favorite part was when we were tearing across the desert, Mad Max style, with the habob blowing sand and us around.

Thanks everyone for doing this ride today. It was great fun and you guys are all as cool as the other side of the pillow.

The Salton Sea is a strange place, man. I'm glad we didn't actually do peyote 'cause that place would've freaked me out.

Just got home ourselves. Now that was a proper ride. I'm sore, tired, and ready to do it again in a heartbeat!

We went down lots of new roads that I've never been on today and it was really fun exploring. Salton Sea was a trip and a half. I thought they were kidding about the bones being that dense in the sand...

Let's find another far out destination and hit it soon!  :17:

NEVER apologize for taking Peyote, only apologize if you act like a fool after you do! Hope you all had a good time.

Gotta admit crossing the desert to goto the Salton Sea seemed like a waste of 40 miles but sure glad we did put the icing on the cake, was a kick ass day  :29:  Still craving Apple Pie just have to settle for supermarket pie. :)

Happy to see rides like this going on.  That's what this forum was founded for.

Ride on,
