« on: 04/29/15 04:37PM »
Hello guys!

So my 2006 Honda CBR600RR is an absolute beauty! :43:
BUT on the right side of the bike is all scratched because the first owner dropped it...

I'm just wondering does anyone know which website is good for getting new body kit?
I found some on EBay, but I don't know if they are legit!

Please leave the website you know down blow so I can make this beauty sexy again!!

Thank you family!
I'm counting on you guys!!
Please help meeeeee

I've been able to get almost everything for my new Ninja through craigslist and the Ninja forum.  I'd check with the CBR600 forum to see what's around.

Good luck,

If you're looking at the fairings on eBay, be careful, most of the ones on there are from China and most of the VFR owners that have purchased them have a lot of issues. Mostly with fitment and sometimes poor quality paint. If you want OEM, then keep searching eBay/CL or CBR specific forum until you find one that is in good shape. Otherwise there are aftermarket alternatives here in the states.

You might look into http://www.sharkskinz.com/20052006.aspx but you will need to prep and paint them, so might be hard to color match unless you respray the whole bike.

There is also http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/hondaz/CBR600RR0506.htm, which like above require prep and painting.

These are definitely Chinese fairing kits, like I mentioned. Not to send anyone away from OCMoto, but this might be a question better asked on a Honda CBR forum. All of the feedback I have heard about the Chinese fairings have been on the VFR forums regarding the fairings specific to the 1998-2001& 2002-2009 kits, and most of, if not all of the complaints, were about improper fitment and poor paint quality. Fitment of the tank cover was the number one complaint but many have also complained about the improper alignment of the mounting holes on the body panels. Since I do not have first hand experience, I would wait and see if anyone else here does or check the CBR forum(s).

make sure to buy a Dremel tool along with Chinese fairing kits because you WILL be drilling holes to fit the fairings
