Just saw this vid. Another car vs bike accident, biker got caught under the car, and people actually work together to help get the biker out from under the car.

Would have been better if it didn't start off with such a stupid reckless unnecessary crash by biker. Nice team work to get him out from underneath though.

If at first you don't succeed, chuck it all in and go for a ride!

It was a female motorcyclist. Try reading the article before commenting next time.

I'm sorry "her"

Biker ignored stopped car in middle of road when barreling along and crashed into car. Yes car was making a illegal turn but "she" should have slowed and let the idiot figure out what he was going to do instead of assuming the car was going to stay put.

And in every other case of accident they just point their fingers and laugh?  :32:

No. Almost every other video I recall seeing shows indifference from other motorists, and even from pedestrians. I can only think of other riders coming to help, if the video clip shows anything after the accident

I've been told not to touch or move injured people unless I know what I'm doing. Or unless there's no help on the way.
This is a very big deal in China, people can just walk or drive by without showing concern, but that's not because they're heartless bastards, just no one wants to be sued for any additional damage they might do to the victim of accident.

I think that's why there's the "Good Samaritan Law." It's suppose to protect those that help others that can't help themselves. Unfortunately, the specifics vary by location.

Meek is right.

Happy to see people helping a rider out.

maybe it's happened and we didn't hear about it, but my recollection is everytime i've heard about a biker getting trapped under a vehicle, people have helped.

This one just from May.

youtube is full of this stuff

as was said elsewhere, you'll see what you want to see in news stories to reinforce your worldview.  It's much healthier to choose to see the good in people.

This is a great post!   :7:

Thanks all.

There are still good people out there and we can all learn from their example.  I wish these kinds of things were more headline news instead of glorifying bad things.

I like it when we focus on the positives and people's desire to help others.

Agreeing with Jordan and Andy.

Unfortunately, the bad stuff gets more clicks.  Wait...  what does that say about humanity?  ;)

Ride on,
