2007 Triumph Daytona 675 like new 4650.00
« on: 10/21/17 05:47PM »
For sale is my 07 Triumph Daytona 675 with 5254 miles.  Mileage may rise as I still ride it.  Bike is in excellent condition, no scratches or dents.  Stock except for frame sliders, wheel tape stripes (easily removed) and FastPack tail bag.  Stock handlebars have been raised to make it a little more comfortable, but they can be put back to original pretty quickly.  I'm selling it to get something a bit more comfy for long trips.  Dunlop Sportmax Qualifier tires have lots of life left on them.  Clean title in hand.  PM me or email tim at thecycleguys dot com.  I'm in Anaheim Hills.

Edit 11/19 lower price and it now has 5565 miles.  Not the most comfortable bike, but still fun to ride!

Occasionally I see ads for motorcycles on this site and CL where I think "good luck", because I think the seller is asking WAY too much.  I try to be nice and don't say anything, but it's especially obvious that the price is far too high when a bike doesn't sell for, say, 6 months or more.  I figure the owner just isn't motivated to sell.

I'd like to do a sanity check here.  What do y'all think of the selling price of this Triumph?  Is it a reasonable price or am I out of line?

Seems in line with whats out there but its a buyers market and people don't seem overly interested in 600 sport bikes. You may have to wait a lot longer or give it away. You may end up happy if you can get $4000. Has there been any interest or offers at all?

No, though I realize it's only been advertised for less than a week, and it's October.  Even though it's 90 degrees outside, for some reason people don't tend to buy motorcycles in the fall.

Low miles and unmolested example. Price is right. Your motivation to sell it may call for you to negotiate a lower price. It's  like fishing. Patience and presentation gets the best tuna.

Bump for lower price and also to let potential buyers know I put a couple hundred miles on the bike last weekend.  Mileage is up to a whopping 5500!! That's an average of 550 miles per year, although I've put 1400 miles on her in the past 2 months.  This bike is clean!

I'd recommend any of the Yamaha FZ's, even the 07 with a slip-on sounds really nice!

You know you need an Ape :D .  That's what replaced my Daytona.
