Seriously! How do have a chain with a missing roller?!

I generally have things happen toe that don't happen to other people ha ha

When I bring a car to a mechanic after a "slight hesitation", when I see a doctor after an injury, when I talk to a manager about an incident, I often hear the phrase "Wow, I've never seen that happen before."

I am just glad it didn't let go on a ride!

Hey breakdirt916, do you jump your bike often? Do you lube your chain "excessively" before you hit the dirt? and maybe adjusting the chain on the "tight" side?

My guess is that you lube your chain excessively before hitting dirt, causing more dirt and grime to be attracted to your chain and sprocket. When you jump your bike and land, the chain is maybe set up too tight for your style causing it to flex  as the sprocket tooth digs into the roller ? maybe?  :26:

I started riding about month later same year, so I might join the celebration. Also on dirt tires!

also potentially interested  :44:

except the rear tire on the DL650 is roasted and toasted

just ordered a shinko 705 from Chaparral...hopefully I can have it mounted and scrubbed in time
I ran Shinko 705's on the KLR650.  I loved them.  I think you will too.

South OC guys, what time are you departing? Looks like a long ride out to be there by 7AM.

Be there at 7:45 kick stands up at 8:00am. From my house in lake forest it's a 60 mile ride. Sunday at 7am is very light so I leave home by 7am to be there at 8am. Probably leave my place at 6:50 to be sure to have time to gas up take a break and be ready for KSU.

Ride safely guys! I couldn't muster the energy to be way up there so early. The days are so long now days I find myself starting out later, like 10-12.

Good day nice weather good company, one rider had some mechanical problems and this poor Harley rider had a bad day but nobody complained and we had fun anyway.  :7:

I ended not able to go - sad I missed the group. Too much stuff on the "honey do" list, plus rebuilding some furniture that fell apart from my move.

Poor HD dude. Not to kick him while he's down, but no gear? Looked like a non-DOT bucket and nothing else. And I certainly hope that was engine oil leaking under the bike, human oil :O
