Hello,
Selling this bike also. I purchased this from my retired coworker whom is the original owner. Garaged kept and looks new. Rides like new. I put a few miles on it before I decided to stop riding. Has 9,400 highway commute miles. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel regulator, battery, and stator. Just changed the oil. Bike is in Long Beach! Asking $5,700.obo

Was it really necessary to replace all those parts, with less than 10k miles?  That's not the normal replacement interval for them.  Curious.

The bike was originally owned by my partner. He stopped riding it in 2008 and stuffed it in the back of the garage. Before he retired from the department in May of this year, he sold me the bike. It wasn't running at the time because of obviously a dead battery. When I acquired the bike I replaced the battery (necessary)and stator (preventive as my Aprilia is on its third stator) along with dumping out the old gas. When I tool the tank off to dump the gas I noticed the fuel was a tad brown. I removed the fuel pump assy. and found the pump has rusted badly. I put everything back together and even though the bike cranked, i didn't hear the fuel pump prime. I figured it was frozen. I replaced the pump and tank gasket and fpr(notorious for failing on this bike so i replaced it just in case) At that time I wasn't planning on selling it so I did a few cosmetic upgrades.

Well, that makes sense. Sitting unused will certainly create issues!

Bike looks great. If I hadn't dropped a ton of money on roof repair, I'd have been very interested. Good luck!

Thanks! I regretted badly selling my rc51 many years ago I have a feeling it'll be the same for this 954.
