Wow that is just messed up.  They both pulled over, the argument turned into a physical altercation, and the young woman pulled out a gun to shot the man.  Maybe in self-defense mode at that point?  This article sure leaves a lot of details unsaid.

The last time I heard, she was detained then released and no charge was filed.

^ That.  She still hasn't been charged that I can find.  So...  It's looking more and more like a justified shoot. 

I did notice that the EMT people pronounced him dead at the scene.  That means it was a head shot.  I've seen it posted that he had a dash-cam and that the footage of the incident was recorded, so that may have played a part (along with what the witnesses said).
