Really wanted to do this ride but a recent sprained wrist has me doing rehab and this is just too much for me at the moment. Sorry i didn't make this. Hope you have a safe and awesome ride/bday and the move goes well for you.

Happy Birthday Doug! Looking forward to the ride report, and pictures! Jealous, as my bike has been parked for 3 weeks in LB with me up here in San Jose, and it's another 3 weeks before I come home. Need pics! :)

Good times had by all. Nice seeing everyone again! Felt good hitting the twisties after so long, and for some reason, I didn't dislike GMR this time around like usual. Maybe it's growing on me.

For some reason I always forget to take my phone out and take pictures! It felt weird riding on public roads for fun again but with this group it at least felt comfortable!

Good to see the Tanners, Capt Bob and Lyle again too. Hopefully I can get my personal schedule a little more in line with riding one day a weekend like I use to. Family obligations, both for happy and sad reasons have me a little tied up but I think after September things should come back to “normal”.

I had a great time. Old friends, new friends, great weather and roads, and a new to me bike I might still fall in love with...

Glad you all had a good ride.  Wish I could have been there.

Ride on,

Think I am going to do an early morning Palomar run on Sunday. I want to get out before all the traffic and cyclists, as well as not deal with a ton of traffic to and from.

Happy to join if you guys want. Thinking Pala Gas @ 7

I'm thinking gmr or maybe malibu. Maps says it takes about hour and a half from my place to pala gas so dang that's a long one.

I got tired of the long trek to Palomar so I moved closer. I feel the struggle.

Doug, just wanted to thank you again for this ride. It got me reinvigorated to get back on the saddle. I've since slapped on new tires and have hit Palomar at least 4 times since.  :27:

Where's the 'Like' button!

This was the first street ride I have done on quite a while, can't recall the last time I was at GMR or Palomar. Hopefully, I'll be able to get back on a weekend ride schedule soon. It's looking like October before I can get a "me" weekend. Friends and Family obligations at the moment, at least until the end of September.

Glad I had a part to play in getting your groove back. We all had a great ride that day everybody was so chill :)  I hope Ocmoto peeps realize what we have here and take advantage of it more.  :17: :8: :7:
