Street Triple R For Sale | $5000
« on: 11/27/18 04:26PM »
Thanks for your interest,

I am an enthusiast owner, begrudgingly selling the best all-around bike I've ever owned.  In 2016, I bought this pristine 2012 STR from a fellow enthusiast in Napa Valley.  I've enjoyed it as a weekend canyon carver and commuter.
Compared to various sportbikes I've owned, including most recently a Daytona 675, few bikes can match the STR for sheer grin factor.  The torque curve, comfort yet sporty feel, reliability, and incredible sound make this bike one of a kind.  It's no wonder the Street Triple has been Triumph's best selling bike of all time and the dominant force in the roadster class.

Maintenance
- In my care, oil, brake fluid, and coolant are changed more frequently than Triumph recommends.  I only use high quality synthetic products (Motul, Amsoil, or Triumph OEM lubricants).
- Not too long ago the bike got it's 12,000 mile refresh at an excellent local independent shop (Riders Revelation).  This included new brake pads, plugs, throttle body balancing, refresh of all fluids, and a valve adjustment.  All valves except two were within factory spec, and the two outliers were within 1mil of spec.  The design of this motor continues to impress.

Modifications
I'm a fan of retaining the factory styling and have attempted to modify the bike tastefully to enhance the overall riding experience.  As we know the R is setup well out of the box with stainless steel brake lines and fully adjustable suspension.  Some thing's I've added:
- Triumph Bar End Mirrors (not currently installed, but garage kept)
- Triumph Belly Pan (not currently installed, but garage kept)
- Triumph Fly Screen (not currently installed, but garage kept)
- R&G rear spools/sliders, front fork sliders, engine case frame sliders
- ASV Shorty Levers
- Rizoma Brake Reservoirs (recently added, not shown in pictures)
- LED Headlights + Parking Lights
- Rizoma LED Turn Signals with Factory LED Flash Relay
- D3 Tail Tidy
- Full Arrow Titanium 3-1 Exhaust System
- Sprint Air Filter
- Triumph Off Road Factory Tune
- Triumph Quick Shifter
- APE Manual Cam Chain Tensioner
- Pirelli Diablo Rosso IIIs

I appreciate the opportunity to find a good home for this great bike and welcome your questions.  Buyer will receive all the manuals and additional parts I have for the bike.  I'm also open to including my single sided Pit Bull rear stand.

Best,
Eric
