Adventure bikes are getting so popular.

I might  grab  Adventure  bike soon .. This is not a thread to debate which  one but I do like the BMW 850 GS .
I see the Chinese  SCS are pretty good for the money .
MY LIBERTY AND FREEDOMS ARE NOT YOURS TO GIVE OR TAKE!.......THEY DIDN'T MAKE US FREE, WE WERE BORN FREE, AS LONG AS WE HAVE THE 2ND AMENDMENT WE WILL REMAIN FREE!

I wonder if anyone has done a longevity test of one of those SCS bikes. I'm not immediately going to dismiss them, but fool me once..

I'd go with a Royal Enfield Himalaya over CSC since they cost the same, but I bet you could do more with a KLR650 which has been modified for the same task.

The CSC will last a while. Have a friend on the SV and ADV forums that put a good 100k on one of the early ones. Not easy miles, either. He was thinking of a trip to SA on it, so hammered it but good for a couple of years.

Ended up doing the trip on a KLR, though. Stuck in Brazil at the moment.
