Your looking for the little tiny screws???  Not the whole assembly correct.  Would a place like Lowes or Home Depot have those?

Just thought I would throw my 2cents in.

funny you would say that...  I just got back from lowes and found some M6-1.00x10  ( i think that breaks down to a metric 6, 1.0 threading(?) 10mm length screw. someone correct me if I'm wrong) that are twice as long as they need to be to fit.  I'm gonna take my dremel and hack them down to size.

if it works, 89 cent fix! but they are silver metal instead of black plastic.  its going under a smoke shield so it shouldnt matter or be noticeable.

(oh and I got four for 89c, if it fits I'll make one for you dmae :) )

Yep.  10mm dia. bolt.  1mm thread pitch peak to peak. 10mm length.  If you goto McFadden Dale Hardware, they have a HUGE selection of really cool metric bolts and screws.

the bolt I needed was actually an M6 , which means its a 6mm dia. bolt with a 10mm head.  Just wanted to clarify for reference.

Also - Success!  just took the bolt down from 10mm length to about 5mm length and its good as new.

If it's been less then 5 years since you bough it call Shoei and ask them to send you one. The "spoiler" on the back of the RF-1000 came loose on mine and they sent me one two days later. If you can't find the # call Cycle Gear and ask them.
