Test ride today went well

Another plus is i measured and without being expanded they don't even extend past the mirrors so I don't have to worry about lane splitting.

Tim hooked me up! These things are cool and I just have to keep the passenger pegs on, no erector set.  Good meeting you Tim and thanks for installing in the parking lot :)  kept waiting for starbucks people to come and kick us out but was all good.  Will have to go someplace w/ better light than my garage to take some decent pics

Is that bottom pic w/ the SHAD box yours? I've looked at pretty much all the top box mounts and none for my bike unless I went with one of those Ventura racks.  Seemed OK but I'm kinda cheap.  That hepco and becker plate for the passenger seat is something I'm working on w/ a buddy of mine.  I would prefer not having a huge tank bag to carry stuff since I have stubby arms and am usually lying on the tank.

just like any work day!  lucky to live in so cal where it's fine to ride 99% of the year

Didn't buy anything but seemed some decent stuff.  When I got there they said they sold a bunch of stuff first thing. Then they put away the table w/ the helmets and boots? kinda weird

Hey Tim thanks for posting up.  You convinced me so i'll reply to your email and see when you have time to meet up

Saw them post on their instagram  Sample sale. Friday 10am-5pm. Sat. 8am-1pm.

emailed and got a quick response.  looking at the pdf and seems I'd need to put my passenger pegs back on and have a big plate on it for support.  There's gotta be a way to have bags sometimes and not leave an erector set on the bike  when they're off :)

looking at this pic from swmotech it seems any generic bags just need something to anchor to and keep them from rubbing.  Not seeing where the $450 or whatever goes.

In addition, other schools and organizations will present information on beginner and advanced riding courses, which type of bike is good for you, and the best gear to wear for different situations. Pizza and soft drinks provided, as well as a raffle with great prizes!

ya I think i'm too cheap for sw motech. I was thinking cheaper soft bags and then some sort of support maybe coming off the passenger peg bolt locations to keep them off the tail. Sadly I'm unskilled in any sort of fabrication tho so haven't tried anything like that.

I know this dude who make such a thing.
the website says they stopped making em but "they might have enough parts" to make a set.  going to email and see what happens
