emailed and got a quick response.  looking at the pdf and seems I'd need to put my passenger pegs back on and have a big plate on it for support.  There's gotta be a way to have bags sometimes and not leave an erector set on the bike  when they're off :)

looking at this pic from swmotech it seems any generic bags just need something to anchor to and keep them from rubbing.  Not seeing where the $450 or whatever goes.

Today at 6 PM - 9 PM
Starts in about 6 hours 66 Mostly Cloudy
Dainese (Costa Mesa, CA)
1645 Superior Ave, Costa Mesa, California 92627

Dainese Orange County helps new riders each month with a night dedicated to rider instruction, safety, and building community. Our June event will feature a Beginners Guide to Trackdays and on-track instruction, presented by Fastrack Riders. In addition, other schools and organizations will present information on beginner and advanced riding courses, which type of bike is good for you, and the best gear to wear for different situations. Pizza and soft drinks provided, as well as a raffle with great prizes!

ya I think i'm too cheap for sw motech. I was thinking cheaper soft bags and then some sort of support maybe coming off the passenger peg bolt locations to keep them off the tail. Sadly I'm unskilled in any sort of fabrication tho so haven't tried anything like that.

I know this dude who make such a thing.
the website says they stopped making em but "they might have enough parts" to make a set.  going to email and see what happens

Considering saddle bags. anyone have/use/recommend some?  I've seen some for the s1000rr and they run in the $400+ range.  seems ridiculous though.  Some that just hang off the top look like they'll just rub the shit out of fairings. No bueno.

Black would be perfect.  I'll check ya when it's done. Making a bracket to mount on the passenger seat on the bike.

Very cool!!  I may have something next week or so.  Trying to make some stuff for the bike :)

none of the "in helmet" speakers seem to work w/ the Shoei X series helmets for me.  Too big, crowd my ears or get moved when putting helmet on/off.  For bluetooth I just got a cheap little bluetooth adapter so I can plug headphones in and it'll pair w/ my phone.  Going to 3m tap to helmet so I can reach controls ez.

I've tried a bunch of headphones and some have been ok, some just too expensive, others just fail after too short a time.  I got these off Amazon the other day: MEE audio M6 PRO Universal-Fit Noise-Isolating Musician's In-Ear Monitors.  With the squishy foam inserts on them they fit great in the ear, sound good up to an over "fwy speeds".  highly recommended if anyone enjoys listening to music while riding.

Can't help with rental insight, but I have a 1 bed condo going on the market very soon :30:
If he doesn't want dibs I'd be interested in the info. Location/specs/price/when available
