Why wait?  Let's start now.

Guy was a douche for filming and posting his crash.  LOL!

Such a douche comment. I hope someone parks next to you.

You deleted my post? I can't have a say on how I feel about the posters thread? Censorship at it's finest.

I just called ahead...told them to make my order ready for 1:10 so I just have to pay at 1:15

How am I to find you? I don't even know your real name? I'll wear a Triumph shirt and a black hat with jeans.

Damn I was all excited to do lunch tomorrow. Thought it was going to be Friday.

Are you one of those motovloggers?

Is noon ksu or meet time? Just wondering. FYI I WILL have my waterproof gear on  :3:  :42: :42: :42:

Meet time. KSU at 12:45

9
Denny's @ 12noon tomorrow... Everybody got it?

10
I'll see you guys tomorrow at 12noon. We'll eat lunch talk and get on the road! Very excited!

11
Sounds good guys. We'll meet at 12noon grab some lunch and head to you and Mark off the 15. As usual I'll text/call Mark when we get on the road heading your way.

12
I say we get an early start Thursday.....
I would love to be on the road in early afternoon.....

Mwrk, we plan on leaving at 2pm. Read the first post.  However if everyone is cool with it we could bump it to 12noon.  Yes?

13
for anyone worried about cargo space, i'll have a 55L topcase to fit plenty of crap :)

Can I stuff my backpack in it?

14
I hope there's no rain. The thought of riding through the cold rain on summer tires is unsettling.

On the other hand, does anyone want to be room mates?

We can sort out the roommate situation when we get to the hotel. It always works itself out.

Is anyone else taking a sportbike on this trip?

Yes, i'll be riding a gsxr.

I was kinda looking forward to the rain storm

I'll also miss it. It just makes me nervous when the temps are in the mid 30's and we run into rain. I think the cities we're going to be shacking up in are Laughlin, Flagstaff, and Tempe. The nightlife on Friday and Saturday will be awesome.

Due to sudden weather changes please don't book any rooms for Friday or Saturday nights. Thursday is set in stone.
Thursday night hotel - Riverside
Friday night hotel - Hotel Monte Vista
Saturday night hotel - Four Points Sheraton

Not to jinx us, but it seriously looks like we won't get rained on at this year (knocking on wood). I'm pretty sure for the last 5yrs we left during a rain storm.

I was hesitant to post this...

but Valentine's day this year, I was alone...so I took my favorite girl out for the day

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/FgYoJBnSgI0?rel=0" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/FgYoJBnSgI0?rel=0</a>

it's a bit mushy...so if it's a bit much, I'll take it down!

UPDATE:
-replacement ignition/gas tank/seat lock and key set on fleabay - $50 shipped
-my previous rear seat lock was broken - I had to open the old one with a screw driver..working seat lock is an upgrade!  :32:
-I actually lost my previous helmet lock - will be able to lock my helmet to the bike again!  :29:
-windscreen ordered for $78 shipped
-thinking about tires....but the 18" rear is a bitch to find *good* rubber...I'm pretty much limited to a Shinko Podium 006...which I got to 50% in 3,500 miles

I enjoyed this video! Thanks for sharing it with us!

If anyone wants to meet up and talk about next week ride we can. I'll be at Peppinos in Mission Viejo off Vista Del Lago at 7pm to close on Friday. I'll be sitting in the bar area.

I'm trying to avoid using a backpack as much as possible.  I'll do some research and see if I can find some cheapy saddlebags or anything to strap to my bike.  I'd be carrying minimal stuff, most of what I need will be worn lol.

Im pretty sure you say you are going to go nearly every year. This time for real?

I use my backpack for all the goods. I do bring a tank bag but I usually pack it full of junk and electronics.
