This is hilarious.  Who knew they had motorcycle road racing in Costa Rica?

Thanks! This is one of the most informative posts I've seen in a long time

This is so cool.  However I suspect it's cooler to look at than to ride.

While I love the story of the 70 year old lady riding a Monster, I'm also glad to find out there's a Cars and Coffee in Villa Park, which is really close for me.  I'll have to check it out in January.

Bike Nights / Re: RADwood LA [80s-90s Auto/Bike Show]

I recently inherited an 86 Subaru XT that I'm trying to bring back to life after sitting for 20 years.  I'm hoping to make it to Radwood L.A. next year!

It was nice to see somewhat obscure bikes like MV Agusta, Aprilia and Moto Guzzi there.  A surprising amount of electric bikes too.  There seemed to be an emphasis on bringing new riders into the sport, which I really appreciate.

Which day is the best to go to the show?

Friday 3pm ~ 8 pm
Saturday 9:30am ~ 8pm
Sunday 10am ~ 5pm

Who else is going?  :17: :17: :17:

It all depends on your preferences.  If you don't like crowds, go on Friday or Sunday.  Saturday noon to 5 is the most crowded time.

I just thought I'd remind everyone that there is still a small bike night happening every Thursday evening at Knowlwood's in Anaheim Hills/ Yorba Linda, near the corner of La Palma and Imperial Highway.  I just got back from there.  There's usually a few vintage bikes, and some new ones as well.  It's mostly old guys, but they're a friendly enough bunch.  Harmless fun for a weeknight.

Although I spent a few minutes at the Honda area, but I did not see the 450L.

I went to the AIM Expo on Sunday.  Being both an industry show and a consumer show, I think it's a bit confusing.  There were vendors there clearly interested only in reaching dealers, and others only interested in reaching consumers, yet they all had to pay for 4 days of a show.  Sunday attendance was incredibly sad.  You could have thrown a bowling ball down any aisle and not hit anyone.  I know quite a few people who were working at booths, and every one of them was unhappy with the attendance and were doubtful they'd be back.  Yes the show was physically big, but for consumers the Long Beach IMS is a better show.

General Motorcycle Discussion / AIM Expo Las Vegas
« on: 10/12/18 09:20PM »
There's a motorcycle industry trade show in Las Vegas this weekend called AIM Expo.  It used to be in Orlando but this year it's in Vegas. It's industry people only on Thursday and Friday, and open to the public Saturday and Sunday.  Has anyone been to this before?  Are you going this weekend?
Is it worth the trip?

Beautiful!  I like the paint scheme

Also keep an eye out for rocks on Highway 1.  Years ago on the way home from Laguna a buddy passed a car on a double yellow, didn't see the bowling-ball-sized rock in the road and hit it square on.  He was OK, but his bike was totaled.

I have a red mesh summer jacket and I absolutely love it!
