So I recently acquired a bunch of cf parts for my build, and it included a front fender that matches the rear hugger, so I no longer need this. In good condition. Nothing wrong with it. $80 picked up.

Getting rid of some of the gear I no longer use. I loved this helmet, but have since replaced it with a Shoei X-12 so this just sits on my shelf.

Miscellaneous / Need a daycare to take your kids to?
« on: 02/06/14 02:02PM »
Hey dudes! Not really sure exactly where to post this, but I figured the misc. section might be a good spot. Anyways, my wife runs a daycare right here in OC (Orange to be exact) and is currently enrolling kids to come to her daycare. She has been doing childcare for a few years now, and running her own daycare for the last 3. We got married back in September, and the transition of moving her daycare is finally complete. If you would like more info, feel free to ask here, or by all means, give her a call and she will be able to answer any questions you may have. She currently has one kid enrolled, and she is limiting her daycare to 6 spots. Also, if you know anybody who is looking for daycare, please pass this info along. If you end up getting directly in touch with her, let her know you found her info on ocmoto. Thanks a ton dudes!!

So as most of you know, I loved the shit out of my Icon Variant. Its what got me started on my hi-viz kick. Here are some pics of it. This is also when I was about halway through my build.

Well, fast forward to today and I decided it was time for a real upgrade. I wanted something that wasn't going to pull my head back on the freeway, or want to snap my neck when doing shoulder checks on lane changes. So today I decided to step my helmet game up. I am officially the proud owner of a new Shoei X-12 Vermeulen replica. Just got back from a quick ride to try it out and is hands down my favorite helmet I have ever owned. SUPER quiet, and super aerodynamic. It wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny!

So as the title states, I have this up for sale. I changed out the slip-on on my bike, so I don't need this one anymore. Still in great condition! The pipe sounds super nice and is pretty loud. I just decided to go a different route. Looking to get $225 for it.

Parts For Sale / Chatterbox XBi2 for sale.

So like a few others on here, I snagged that sweet black Friday deal and got 2 kits for $100. I am now selling them both for the same price that I paid. They are both brand new, one of them is still in the box. I set one of them up in my helmet, but I just don't think its for me. I prefer the in-ear headphones.

That being said, I'm not trying to make any money off of this, so I am therefore passing the same deal I got for mine, on to you. You will get both kits for $100. The only thing you will need are 2 small pieces of velcro for the ear pieces since they are now stuck in my helmet. Im located in Fullerton.

So as some of you may know by now from my build thread, I have a lot of parts laying around that I now need to sell to clean out my cabinets. All of the parts listed are for an 06-07 600/750. I would prefer local pick-up for everything, but if the parts need to be shipped, it will be up to the buyer to cover the shipping costs.

First up is the front suspension. I am not 100% sure on the mileage, as I purchased this along with parts for my build, but was told it is fairly low mileage. Still in amazing condition. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. They were replaced for an Ohlins setup. Includes axle. Looking to get $150 picked up.

Next up are the stock calipers. Mileage is approximately 17k. They were removed off of my bike to be replaced with calipers that were powder coated. I purchased my new calipers with the front end, so my stock calipers are now up for sale. They work great, no sticking or anything of that sort. Looking to get $50 for all the calipers.

Next is the entire tail end of the bike. Fairings, subframe, tail light, seat, battery tray, everything. Basically, everything from the gas tank back. There is a small scratch on the left rear fairing, but other than that, is in great condition. Looking to get $350 for everything. I would prefer not to part it out, but if you need a piece from it, shoot me an offer in a PM.

Last, I have an OEM main fairing stay bracket. $40 picked up.

Off the top of my head, I think that's all I have for right now. I will check my cabinets again when I get home tonight and double check. Anyways, I will work a package deal with you if you want everything listed.

Also, I dont know why Ryan didn't rent one of these once he broke his leg.  O0

Parts For Sale / 120/17 Bridgestone BT-016 (2 of them)
« on: 09/14/12 09:56AM »
So I now have 2 of these. They're still in good condition and have lots of life left in them. The only reason I have them is because I usually buy my tires in pairs, so I replace them both at the same time. Usually its because I get a really good deal on the set. Anyways, not sure on the actual mileage of them, but other than being a little dirty from sitting in my garage, they're in great shape. 120/70/17  $40 each.

Alright, so some of you may have seen my build thread, but I wanted to post this here so someone who may have had this problem in the past be able to help me out.

So last night I was working on wiring up my new gauges. I started off by wiring up the power and getting them turned on. Once that was done, I wired up the neutral wire (blue w/ black tracer) and everything was fine. In neutral, light would come on. Put it in gear, light would go off. So I move on. Later on, I notice my neutral light is off. I figure it was in gear, so I check. It's still in neutral.

So here is what is going on. With the kickstand up, the bike will turn on with no problems. However, the neutral light does not have power. Using my multimeter, it does not detect any voltage. As soon as I drop the kickstand, the bike will die, and the neutral signal wire will read 12v. However, while the kickstand is down, the wire reads 12v no matter what gear it is in. I clicked 1-6, and the signal never dropped below 12v. The bike will not start with the kickstand down however. As soon as I kick the stand back up, the signal wire drops back to 0v, and you can hear the bike prime and it starts up no problem.

I know I can probably just bypass the kickstand switch, but I would prefer to not do that. That would be a last resort. That also still wouldn't fix the fact that with the stand up, the neutral light gets no power. Also, I know the clutch safety switch is ok, because as soon as I pull the clutch in, the bike will start, provided the kick stand is up.

So that's where I'm at. I have searched all over, and haven't been able to find a good answer to my problem. Is it possible that the gear position sensor went bad all of a sudden? Or could it possibly be something else I am missing?

Thanks a bunch in advance for any help at all!

Deals and Vendors / Cycle Gear Bridgestone BT016 sale.
« on: 09/01/12 12:25PM »
This weekend Cycle Gear is doing a sale on the BT016. $199 for a pair which is a really good deal. Just picked mine up today. Just throwing it out there.  :29:

So I am trying to find out if it is possible to do this or not. I haven't been able to find a solid answer on whether I would be able to use the Sena SMH10 to talk to riders with a chatterbox. Anyone have any experience with this?
