Rent-a-Clunker
« on: 09/05/09 11:12AM »
Hey all I have a friend who is new to riding, just passed the MSF course and got his M1. I've let him ride my RC51 around the block a few times and he's had no trouble so far.

The question is : I am looking for a cheap (SAFE!) bike for him so he can get some experience before he runs off and buys a rocket right off the showroom floor- and I was wondering if anyone

A) Was selling an older, decently-running, safe bike so log some seat time, or

B) Has one they'd rent me/us for a weekend or two one of these days.

Laidlaw's has a Nighthawk that I am simply unwilling to pay $60 a day for... so I thought someone on the post with an older Ninja 250,500 laying around in the garage wouldn't mind having a few extra bucks in their pocket.

Let me know-

THANKS!   :17:

I failed to mention I could feel my hearbeat in my neck while he was out of my sight? Logically, I knew he was responsible and wouldn't overstep his comfort zone. But when he got back, put in neutral, and set the kickstand, I said "So, what do you think?" and my subconscious was saying "GET OFF! GET OFF NOW! AAAGHHHH!!!!"
