Intermediate - You have been riding for at least 6 months (hopefully more) and feel comfortable enough to handle twisty roads as found in local canyons. You are mature enough to understand going slow is okay and not to try and keep up with riders that are faster than you as it will result in a crash.
Expert - You have been riding for years and hopefully been riding with the members going on the ride long enough to know how they ride.

Some advice? Avoid going thru Hemet and Lake Perris...too many stops, too much traffic. Hit up Domenigoni instead...

BTW,There is a Shell gas station right at 'C'
Excellent advice.
Route updated.

Domenigoni is da bomb!  :7: Say hello to our Ruff Rider friend if you see him!  :27:

Guys, Domenigoni is a good way to avoid Hemet headaches but if you are up for extending your route a little, many like to go down the 74 face just to play with the twisties but go back up so that you have to decide to go back the 243 that you just came off of or stay right to go down the 74 Pines to Palm. But instead of taking it to the Desert you go to the 371, make a right and that will take you to the 79s. Make another right on the 79s and you come out in Temecula. Yes I know a little south from the 74 that you want to get back on but a nice run and a lot cooler area than coming out in Hemet/Perris. Plus once in Temecula you have a lot of places to take a nice break. I know I live there off 79s and have lead rides thru there several times...

Just wanted to through you an option...Safe Riding, I'll probably be heading down towards San Diego, Julian, S1 and other routes that day. Weekend is suppose to be cooler so will make for some nice runs.

Best  :29:

Just replied to a PM asking for a shorter version of this ride and there is an easy solution...
Just break off from the ride after coming down from Idyllwild to Beaumont (just before point E) and return home from there, following the 60 and then 91 Fwy.

I'll be going for the fulll version myself.

Actually...if they are stopping at the Shell Station in Hemet, that might be better. ("C" on his map)
(takes us about an hour from San Juan Capistrano/Chevron)

There is a Farmer Boys on Collier(74), right before Central in Lake Elsinore that I can meet you guys at.  How does that sound, Jerome?

Please let's meet at one of the designated points on the map. If you're in Elsinore it should be a short drive for you to get to point C. I'm guessing we should be at point C around 10:45 am.

Problem with meetup locations further away from the start of the ride is the difficulty to predict what time the gathered group arrives. The burden of conservative waiting should be on the riders that meetup further downstream, so the majority is not penalised by padding the ride with extra wait times.

Another option: On previous rides, there were riders waiting along the planned route that just merged in and that worked for them. Look for this color scheme with me riding solo on this one. To help you, I will be tootin' my horn as I approach the intersection of Collier and Central, I'm guessing we should drive by around 10:15am.

Looks like we have a nice group of riders building up, this will be fun.

I see.  I suggested it since you would be passing it before getting on the freeway per your map. I understand.
